One goal.
A continuously revised plan.

Parrot Passport coordinates explicit learning rules with model-assisted generation and evaluation. The result is not a chat thread. It is a learning plan that keeps moving.

  1. 01Understand intent

Start with the language and outcome you choose.

  2. 02Build the goal

Turn that intent into a concrete vocabulary target.

  3. 03Choose and observe

Select the next action, then learn from the response.

  4. 04Adapt the plan

Update mastery, scheduling, difficulty, and support.

The essentials

What to know before you begin.

Here is the current product plainly: what you can build, what appears in the feed, what gets saved, and what the prototype does not claim to replace.

01Is Parrot Passport an AI chatbot?

No. It is a scroll-driven mixed learning feed. Models can help create and evaluate language content, while explicit rules own content eligibility, learner-state transitions, review scheduling, and fallbacks.

02Can it build a lesson about a niche topic?

Yes. Enter a topic and level to request a vocabulary set and illustrated stories, or reuse a matching lesson. Generated content goes through validation and may require curriculum review before publication.

03Do I need my own word list?

No. You can request a topic lesson, start with essentials, type words, paste source text, import an Anki .apkg deck, or build a list from a captioned YouTube video.

04What if I already know some of the language?

A placement check can give you credit for familiar vocabulary before your feed begins. Your active goal then focuses the next words and reviews.

05What happens after I choose my words?

The mixed feed can introduce a word with an image, show an example sentence, place target words inside an illustrated story, surface contextual grammar, and ask for recall. Any due reviews take priority over new material.

06Does Parrot Passport teach grammar?

Yes, in context. Grammar notes and practice explain patterns from the current material, but grammar evidence does not block story completion or vocabulary-goal progress.

07Can I see sentence translations?

You can tap, hover, or focus words inside an interactive sentence for help. The interface avoids permanently displaying a full direct sentence translation, so the scene and target language keep doing the work.

08How does spaced review work?

After practice, a scheduler estimates when the word should return. Stronger recall generally allows a longer interval; difficulty brings the word back sooner. Due reviews are prioritized in the feed.

09Does the same word reset in a new goal?

No. Mastery belongs to the vocabulary item, so knowledge carries across overlapping lists and stories. One word-list goal can be active per user and learning language.

10Is Parrot Passport a complete language course?

It is a vocabulary-first prototype, not a replacement for conversation, extensive listening and reading, or instruction from a skilled teacher. Its strength is turning specific interests into understandable, memorable encounters with useful words.

11Which languages can I learn?

Parrot Passport has catalog support for English, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Latin American and Castilian Spanish, Modern Standard Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian, Indonesian, Urdu, German, Japanese, Marathi, Vietnamese, Turkish, Greek, and Farsi. The language picker shows the languages whose learning content is currently ready.

12Can I try it before creating an account?

Yes. You can preview the four-step sample lesson or continue as a guest. Guest progress stays on the current device until you create an account.

13Do I need a credit card to start?

No credit card is required to begin the current experience.
